Clare Marble and several of her classmates explore the new S.T.R.E.A.M Lab at Seven Sorrows of the Blessed Virgin Mary school.

Students at Seven Sorrows of the BVM Catholic School will be guided through project-based learning assignments through the new S.T.R.E.A.M Lab. Projects will focus on a different theme each month. All subjects (science, technology, religion, engineering, art and math) are blended together and applied to real-world problem solving. This hands-on educational space will provide ample opportunity for SSBVM students to create solutions for complex problems, preparing them for servant-minded leadership in the future.

The S.T.R.E.A.M Lab has been added as a weekly special for kindergarten through 8th grade. The lab also compliments the school’s preschool Play Lab and elementary Nature Lab to further enhance the students’ experience.

The school extends a special thanks to the school community for supporting this facility improvement, which brings the school one step closer to their goal of becoming a S.T.E.M certified school.

Families interested in learning more about SSBVM’s unique educational experience are invited to the school’s open house on November 14, 2021 or by contacting the school for a private tour. More information can be found at sevensorrowsschool.com.
