Parish Christmas Bazaars

St. Aloysius Gonzaga Council #17784 of the Knights of Columbus in Littlestown will have a Christmas bazaar and flea market Oct. 30 from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. in the parish hall. Event is free for patrons in attendance.

Corpus Christi Parish in Chambersburg’s Holiday Craft Fair, sponsored by the Corpus Christi Council of Catholic Women, will be held Nov. 6 from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. at the parish center. There are 23 vendors with a variety of unique hand sewn items, crafts, jewelry, home decor, baked goods and much more. St. Anthony of Padua Parish in Lancaster will hold its Christmas Bazaar Nov. 13 from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. and Nov. 14 after the 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. Masses in the Resurrection Catholic School cafeteria at 521 E. Orange St., Lancaster. The theme this year is “Together Again at Christmas,” a fitting title following a year off in 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Much is offered, including high-valued raffle items, wreath and garden, trim-a-tree, crafts, religious items, gift shop, children’s crafts and gift baskets. The popular jewelry table features bangles and baubles for just a few dollars. Raffle items are valued at a minimum $50. For $1, take a chance on a telescope, vlogging kit, gaming bundle, homemade manger or table, drill set, Thomas Hermansader prints, and more, including many gift cards to local restaurants and businesses. Raffles will be drawn at 2 p.m. Saturday. Need not be present to win. Food will be offered throughout, including the ever-popular goodies table full of treats to take or gift. Our Lady, Help of Christians Parish in Lykens will host a Shop & Drop Christmas Bazaar on Nov. 5, from 5-8 p.m. and Nov. 6 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at the parish social hall. Holy Name of Jesus Parish in Harrisburg will host its annual Craft Fair on Nov. 6 in the gymnasium. Doors will open at 8:30 a.m. and the event will end at 2 p.m. A snack bar will be available for refreshments. Find great ideas for Christmas with no waiting for delivery.

St. Francis Xavier Church will hold a Gift Fair and Holiday Bazaar on Saturday, Nov. 13, from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Xavier Center, 465 Table Rock Road, Gettysburg. Local vendors and artisans will be featured. Fair trade items, collectibles, holiday gifts, baked goods, and children’s activities. Café offering breakfast and lunch items. Annunciation of the BVM Parish in McSherrystown is holding a Christmas Bazaar on Saturday, Nov. 6 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the school gym. Filled raffle baskets, decorated wreaths and trees, baked goods, outdoor wood items, crafts, children and adult themed baskets, 50/50 drawing and lottery tree. All are welcome.

The St. Joseph Mechanicsburg Columbiettes’ Christmas Fest will take place Nov. 20 from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. More than 50 vendors will offer an array of handmade and commercial products; baked goods and pie sale; silent auction and ticket raffle (both open until 2:30); children’s crafts; and food for purchase. St. James Parish in Lititz will host its annual Christmas bazaar in-person on Nov. 19 from 3-9 p.m., and Nov. 20 from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public. Wearing of masks is required for entry; there will not be an online shopping component this year. For added safety, there will be a separate entrance and exit for guests. Please look for signage and a new side entrance. The bazaar will feature an assortment of handmade crafts, wreaths, floral arrangements, knitted items and fun activities for people of all ages. You won’t want to miss the white elephant sale, book sale, basket raffle, silent auction and a raffle drawing for fabulous prizes. A special children’s craft room will be open Friday from 3-9 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. with games and fun activities for all, a visit with Santa, and the opportunity to make and take gingerbread houses. Hot food will not be served on Friday (or Saturday during the day), however beverages and packaged snacks, as well as the traditional baked goods sale will be available. Pierogies, handmade by parishioners, will be available for purchase (packaged and frozen) until sold out. St. Columba Parish and School in Bloomsburg will hold their annual Winterfest on Nov. 20 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at the school. A variety of delicious soups, haluskies, Father’s homemade lasagna, chili, barbeque, hoagies, pizza, pierogies, and mouth-watering homemade baked goods will be served. You can dine in or take out. The vent will also feature many wonderful raffles, the famous Dollar Tree, all new Build a Bear and a variety of talented craft vendors. Winterfest benefits St. Columba School.

St. John the Baptist Parish in New Freedom will have its annual Christmas bazaar Nov. 12 from 5-8 p.m., Nov. 13 from 8 a.m.-5 p.m., and Nov. 14 from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. The bazaar will take place at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church on 175 East Main Street in New Freedom. Auction items, Christmas décor, baked goods, religious items, gift baskets, crafts, clothing, raffles, “The Price is Right” bargain center, refinished furniture, jewelry, vintage items and home goods. Kids can enjoy special events and games, as well as a Secret Santa Shop to purchase gifts. Food will also be available for sale.

St. Peter Parish in Columbia will host its annual Christmas bazaar following all Masses the weekend of December 4 and 5 in the Parish Center. A ham dinner will be available for eat-in or take-out on Sunday, December 5 following the 10:30 a.m. Mass.

Divine Redeemer Parish in Mount Carmel’s Holiday Faire will be Nov. 13 from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. in Divine Mercy Hall. Event will include food, a bake sale and holiday-themed baskets. The hall will be open for the baskets on Nov. 12 from 6-8 p.m. and Nov. 13 from 11 a.m.-6 p.m.

St. Rita Parish in Blue Ridge Summit will host a Kringle Fest on Dec. 4 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Christmas wreaths, Christmas centerpieces and more will be on sale.

St. Catherine of Siena Parish in Quarryville’s Christmas bazaar will be Nov. 20 from 8 a.m.-1 p.m., featuring 36 vendors from the community and from our parish. We are offering, new this year, a variety of holiday baskets, including teas, coffee, baking, men’s, a variety of small kitchen utensils, and a large tray of snacks. We will be serving our famous breakfast burritos, ham & bean soup, the best ever chili, plus coffee, tea and soda.

Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Parish in Elysburg will have its Christmas bazaar on Dec. 11 from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. The bazaar will feature 40 crafters and vendors, raffles, delicious food, holly bread sale, Christmas cookie trays and a basket raffle.

St. Vincent de Paul Parish in Hanover will host its Christmas Bazaar on Nov. 6 from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. in the auditorium at 65 South Street in Hanover.

St. Andrew the Apostle Parish in Waynesboro will have its annual Christmas Bazaar and Craft Show on Nov. 6 from 8:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. in the school hall.

The Council of Catholic Women from Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish in Cornwall will host a Christmas bazaar November 6 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. in the parish center. Food, crafts, gifts, white elephant items, hats, ornaments, nut roll sales and a basket raffle.

Assumption BVM Parish in Lebanon (St. Mary’s), will have a Christmas bazaar Nov. 6 from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. in the parish center. Event will feature baked goods, candy, homemade egg rolls, hot dogs, soups, home-canned items, crafts, jewelry, gift baskets, flea market, and a craft project for children.

St. Joseph Parish in Hanover will have its Christmas bazaar on Nov. 13 from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Breakfast and lunch, baked goods, raffles, crafts, Granny’s Attic and much more. Event will feature more than 50 vendors and more than 100 tables of goodies.

The Women’s’ Auxiliary of St. Philip the Apostle Parish in Millersville will host its annual craft show on Dec. 4 from 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. More than 50 vendors will be selling their handmade wares. Books will be sold by the Friends of the Lancaster Public Library, and baked goods, food and drinks will be available for purchase. Free parking and admission.

St. Benedict the Abbot Parish in Lebanon will have its Christmas bazaar on Nov. 13 from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Baked goods, rolls, cookies, candy, basket raffles and a turkey raffle every hour. New this year: craft vendors. Food includes hot dogs, haluski, halupki, tamales, pozole, shrimp soup, empanadas, rice with pigeon peas and roast pork, homemade soups and more.

St. Cecilia Parish in Lebanon will host its Christmas bazaar on Nov. 20 from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. in the parish center on State Drive. We will be selling our delicious strudels and sugar cookies, candy and baked goods. There will be a cookbook booth, bazaar boutique, Christmas booth, and basket booth. The kitchen will be open, offering donuts and sticky buns as well as a variety of soups and beef BBQ. The Holy Name men will also be selling their homemade sauerkraut, filling and pepper cabbage.

St. Columba School in Bloomsburg will hold its annual Winterfest on Saturday,  November 20 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m., where many vendors will be selling holiday items. Food and entertainment will also be on hand.
