Knights of Columbus Hold Spirit Scramble

Knights of Columbus Council 10502 from Church of the Holy Spirit in Palmyra held their 10th annual Spirit Scramble at Iron Valley Golf Course on Saturday, August 28.  Despite a foggy start to the day, the event was sold out and golfers not only enjoyed a morning on the links but a wonderful lunch and the opportunity to bid on numerous silent auction items from various sports teams and individuals.

The Council uses the proceeds from the event for the church and for various community donations.  Recently, the Council helped fund a service dog from Susquehanna Service Dogs to an individual in need and have also donated funds for wheel chairs for veterans.

Grand Knight Tom Szeltner and event organizer Dave Wolfe welcomed golfers to the event.
