Good Friday, Holy Saturday and Easter Sunday at St. Patrick Cathedral

Holy Week, the most important week in the Catholic Church, is the time between Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday. During Holy Week, we remember the suffering, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Bishop Ronald Gainer celebrated Holy Week liturgies at St. Patrick Cathedral, with the faithful attending in-person and joining via live stream on the Cathedral Parish’s YouTube Channel, https://bit.ly/2P77vZu.

The Catholic Witness shares here, images of Good Friday, the Easter Vigil and the Easter Sunday celebration of the Resurrection of the Lord at St. Patrick Cathedral. From the Lord’s Passion on Good Friday, to the joy of new Catholics receiving the Sacraments of Initiation at the Easter Vigil, and Jesus’s glorious Resurrection on Easter Sunday, we celebrate Our Lord’s triumph over sin and death.
