The Harrisburg Diocesan Guild of the Catholic Medical Association will host the annual White Mass for Healthcare Professionals at St. Joan of Arc Church in Hershey on Sunday, October 19, at 9:30 a.m. Bishop Timothy Senior will be the celebrant. The White Mass provides an opportunity for all Catholic physicians, healthcare workers, medical students, residents, and their families to gather in solidarity and fellowship. A Mass in American Sign Language without voice interpretation will be celebrated on Sunday, September 14, at 4 p.m. at St. Joseph Church in Mechanicsburg. The annual Mass for “Father Walter Ciszek Day” in Shenandoah, Pa., will be Sunday, October 19 at 2 p.m. at St. Casimir Church. The Mass and events surrounding it remembers the American Jesuit priest who conducted missionary work in the Soviet Union before being imprisoned in solitary confinement and labor camps. Listening sessions on the 50th anniversary of the Catholic Bishops’ pastoral letter, “This Land is Home to Me,” will be hosted by the Diocese on October 6 and 7 from 6:30-8 p.m. via Zoom. Knights of Columbus Council 6693 of St. Joan of Arc Parish in Hershey will host the “Miracles on Display” exhibit by St. Carlo Acutis, September 19-23 from 3-9 p.m. with extended hours on September 21 from 8:30 a.m.-9 p.m. The exhibit will be on display in the school gymnasium at the Areba Avenue campus. The exhibit will feature 120+ posters of Eucharistic miracles recognized as miracles. This exhibit was created and designed by St. Carlo Acutis starting in 2002 and is made up of photographs and historical records representing the ancient and modern Eucharistic miracles which have taken place around the world. Admission is free, but a free-will offering will be accepted to defray the cost of the exhibit’s maintenance.

Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish in Cornwall will host Chevalier Cyril John for an Intercessory Prayer Revival, September 15-17 at 6:30 p.m. each evening. Cyril John’s ministry is to raise up intercessors. Pope Francis bestowed the title of “Chevalier” (Knight of the Order of St. Gregory the Great) on John in 2021. His presentations at Sacred Heart will focus on the call and urgency of intercessions (Sept. 15), the power of intercession to renew gifts and charisms of the Holy Spirit (Sept. 16), and four roles of the intercessor (Sept. 17).
