This presentation briefly reviews the history of the apparitions and then looks at several of the thousands of cures that have taken place in Lourdes, including recent ones that defy explanation by even the most skeptical medical personnel using the best modern technology. St. James Parish in Lititz is looking for a new part-time Music Director. This person is responsible for coordinating music for worship and directing our choir(s). A candidate should be competent in piano, organ, and voice. We have been blessed with an excellent program that integrates both traditional and contemporary sacred music that encourages participation by the congregation. Both organ and piano work for our worship space, and we expect that they would be utilized regularly. The Music Director will conduct weekly choir rehearsals and schedule cantors and accompanists. A candidate for this position will also make him/herself available to coordinate music with families for funerals and couples for weddings. St. James has an enthusiastic and dedicated choir that is eager to work with a new director to continue the great things already begun! The parish has an active community generous with its time, talent and treasure, and a strong appreciation for the value of our sung prayer. Please submit resumé and compensation requirements to frrfischer@hbgdiocese.org.
