Priests in the Diocese of Harrisburg gathered for a Day of Sanctification and the celebration of the anniversaries of their ordination last month, joining Bishop Emeritus Ronald Gainer for a day of prayer and fraternity.
Held at Good Shepherd Parish in Camp Hill on June 15, the Day of Sanctification featured Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, a Penance Service and Confessions, and presentations by Father Sebastian White, O.P., Editor-in-Chief of Magnificat Magazine.
In the evening, the priests enjoyed a dinner in recognition of the anniversaries of their ordination to the priesthood, and presented a gift to Bishop Gainer for his service to the Diocese and his retirement.
