Christmas Bazaars

Browse crafters and vendors, take advantage of holiday shopping, and enjoy delicious homemade food at the many Christmas bazaars and craft shows in the coming weeks. Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish in McSherrystown will have its Christmas bazaar on Saturday, November 5 from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. in the school hall. There will be filled raffle baskets, decorated wreaths and trees, baked goods, outdoor wood items, crafts and themed basked for children and adults.

The Council of Catholic Women of St. Andrew the Apostle Parish in Waynesboro will have its annual Christmas Bazaar and Craft Show on Saturday, November 5 from 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. in the school hall. There will be raffles, a bake sale, a wide variety of crafts and a great soup and breadstick lunch.

The Council of Catholic Women of Holy Name of Jesus Parish in Harrisburg will have their annual Craft Show on Saturday, November 5 in the gym. Stop by to visit the many vendors any time between 8:30 a.m.-2 p.m. The kitchen will be serving breakfast, lunch and snacks.

The Council of Catholic Women of Corpus Christi Parish in Chambersburg will host their Holiday Craft Fair, Saturday, November 5 from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. in the parish center. There are 25 vendors with a fantastic variety of unique hand sewn items, crafts, jewelry, home décor, baked goods and much more. Enjoy a delicious breakfast sandwich beginning at 8 a.m.; warm lunch and decadent desserts from 10:30 a.m.-2 p.m. For more information, contact Kathy at 717-352-7354.

The Council of Catholic Women of St. Paul the Apostle Parish in Annville will hold a Christmas Bazaar on Saturday, November 12 from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Coffee and donuts will be available for breakfasts, soup and sandwiches for lunch. Baked goods and hand-made items for decorating and gift giving will fill the social hall.

St. Joseph Parish in Hanover will have its holiday bazaar on Saturday, November 12 from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. in the social hall. Breakfast and lunch will be served, and there will be more than 50 vendors along with baked goods, raffles and Grannie’s Attic. All profits benefit the parish.

St. Joan of Arc Parish’s Council of Catholic Women will have their Christmas bazaar on Saturday, November 12 from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. in the parish social hall. Grandma’s attic treasures, Christmas decorations, handmade craft items, jewelry, homemade baked items, basket raffles and a money tree. Homemade breakfast and lunch will be available for purchase.

St. Francis Xavier Parish in Gettysburg will have its gift fair and holiday bazaar on Saturday, November 12 at St. Francis Xavier Center from 8 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Local vendors, crafters and artisans, vintage collectibles, holiday gifts, bake sale, door prizes, raffles and more. St. Anthony of Padua Parish in Lancaster will hold its Christmas bazaar, November 12 from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. and November 13 after the 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. Masses in the Resurrection Catholic School cafeteria at 521 E. Orange St., Lancaster. The theme this year is “I’ll Be Gnome for Christmas.” Bazaar includes high-valued raffle items, wreath and garden, trim-a-tree, crafts, religious items, gift shop, children’s crafts and gift baskets. The popular jewelry table features items for just a few dollars. Raffle items are valued at a minimum $50 and include electronics, tools, crystal ware, gift baskets, gift cards, gift cards to local restaurants and businesses and more. Tickets are on sale after Masses at St. Anthony during October. Raffles are drawn at 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 13. No need to be present to win. St. Cecilia Parish in Lebanon will have its annual bazaar on Saturday, November 19, from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Donuts, sticky buns and coffee for the early birds; sugar cookies, walnut and poppyseed strudel will be available. There will also be themed baskets, jewelry, scarves, handbags, Christmas items and a chance booth. Join us for a light lunch of soups, pork barbecue and hotdogs/sauerkraut.

St. Patrick Parish in Carlisle will host its Christmas Craft Market on Saturday, December 3 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. in the parish activity center on Marsh Drive. Free admission to the public.

St. Peter Parish in Columbia will have its Christmas bazaar on December 3 from 5:30-7 p.m. and December 4 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. in the parish center. Handmade crafts and desserts. Ham dinner Sunday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.; eat in or take out. Dinner tickets available at the door for $8 for adults, $4 for students.

Seven Sorrows of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish in Middletown will have its Christmas bazaar on Sunday, December 4. Craft fair from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. in the school gymnasium. Cookies with Santa from 9-10 a.m. and from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Nature Lab. Event hosted by the Knights of Columbus and the School PTT.

Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Parish in Elysburg will have its Christmas bazaar on Saturday, December 10, from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. at the parish. There will be crafters, vendors, food, a cookie walk and bake sale, a basket raffle, holly bread sale and a visit from Santa. The parish is still accepting crafters and vendors for the event.

The Council of Catholic Women of Our Lady Help of Christians in Lykens will have their Christmas bazaar and auction on Friday, November 11 and Saturday, November 12. Friday is shop and drop only, from 5-7 p.m. On Saturday, enjoy the bazaar, auction, food, homemade baked goods and other local favorites from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

St. Columba Parish and School in Bloomsburg are having their annual Winterfest on November 19 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at the school. A variety of delicious soups, haluskies, chili, barbeque, hoagies, pizza, pierogies and mouthwatering homemade baked goods will be served. You can dine in or take out. Also featured will be many wonderful raffles, the famous Dollar Tree, Build-a-Bear activity and a variety of talented craft vendors. Event proceeds benefit St. Columba School.

The Women’s Auxiliary of St. Philip the Apostle Parish in Millersville will host its annual Craft Show from 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 3 at the church. The show will feature handmade craft items by over 50 vendors, baked goods, food and drink. Parking available and admission are free.
