Knights of Columbus Council 1426 of Corpus Christi Parish in Chambersburg recently donated $3,000 to Catholic Charities to benefit the Lourdeshouse Maternity Home, which is located in Harrisburg. Lourdeshouse provides specialized and comprehensive maternity care and residential services to women in need. Women can stay at Lourdeshouse throughout their pregnancy and up to six months after the birth of their baby, and mothers and infants receive support throughout the baby’s first year. Representing the Knights at the check presentation were Jacob Vanier, president; Richard So, past president; Ryan Crider, John Putko and William Blednick. Receiving the donation for Catholic Charities were Kelly Gollick, Executive Director; Christopher Meehan, Director of Development, and Annette Martin, Associate Director of Lourdeshouse.
