Knights of Columbus Council 1426 in Chambersburg is helping to support the mothers and babies of Lourdeshouse Maternity Home in Harrisburg with funds contributed to their baby bottle campaign. The effort encourages parishioners to fill baby bottles with financial contributions. Thanks to the generosity of parishioners of Corpus Christi Parish, the Knights presented a check for $6,000 to Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Harrisburg, which operates Lourdeshouse as one of its three residential programs.
An additional check in the amount of $400 was also presented for Lourdeshouse, donated from the Knights of Columbus Supreme Council’s Aid and Support after Pregnancy program.

Lourdeshouse provides specialized, comprehensive maternity care and residential services, including case work, nutrition and parenting classes to help get healthy moms and babies on track for success once they leave the home.
