Since its founding in 2001, the Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) Program has provided qualifying Pennsylvania business corporations and individuals (through a Special Purpose Entity or SPE) the ability to redirect their Pennsylvania tax dollars to educational institutions, including Our Mother of Perpetual Help School in Ephrata.
When businesses and individuals participate in EITC and SPE, their tax dollars turn into scholarships for local students in need. Over the years, hundreds of students have received their education at Our Mother of Perpetual Help in part because of the generosity, dedication and shared vision of these businesses and individuals.
This year, more than $80,000 was designated for Our Mother of Perpetual Help School through EITC and SPE tax credits, due to the generosity of the following companies and individuals: Bravo Foundation, Clear Tech EDI Solutions LLC, Cliffside Industries, Ltd., Donegal Mutual Insurance Company, Douple Agency, Inc., Ephrata National Bank, Heller’s Gas, iDrive Interactive, LLC, Performance Roofing Associates, Sahd Metal Recycling, The Miller Family, and The Rudy Family.
Our Mother of Perpetual Help School encourages and teaches reverence, respect, and responsibility and offers full-day preschool, full-day kindergarten, and grades 1-8. For more information, call 717-738-2414 or visit www.omphschool.com.
