Bishop Gainer Congratulates Bishop-elect Kulick as New Bishop of Greensburg

HARRISBURG, Pa. – Bishop Ronald W. Gainer, Bishop of the Diocese of Harrisburg, issued the following statement on the announcement of Monsignor Larry James Kulick being appointed Bishop of Greensburg.

“I am delighted to send my prayerful congratulations to Bishop-elect Larry Kulick on his appointment as Bishop of Greensburg by his Holiness, Pope Francis. I know that all of us in the Diocese of Harrisburg wish him well on this new appointment.

“I have had the privilege of getting to know him and work closely with him since he has been the representative of the Diocese of Greensburg on the Administrative Board of the Pennsylvania Catholic Conference. Now I look forward to serving together with him as a brother Bishop. I pray God may grant him the strength and joy needed for this important ministry.”
