Bishop Ronald Gainer celebrated Holy Mass at St. Patrick Cathedral in Harrisburg on November 6, honoring the deceased members of the Knights of Columbus over the past year. The Knights of Columbus 4th Degree Honor Guard was present for the Mass.
“This month we try and remember all who have gone before us; it is an important thing to do,” Bishop Gainer said in his homily. “Sometimes we live as if death is for somebody else, but death comes to us all so it is for all of us…. Eternal life is not a continuing of our current lives but life is transformed according to our Lord Jesus. It is important to keep the hope of eternal life always present in our daily lives and we do that with the Holy Eucharist.”
